Italian travel can be a dream come true for anyone interested in art, history, architecture, fashion, or fine foods. Italy is such a varied country, each region has it’s own special charms. It’s not possible to see all of Italy in a few weeks, it’s best to stick to two or three cities at most to be able to fully appreciate all these cities have to offer.

Starting at one of the hotels in Rome Italy is an excellent way to start to any Italian holiday. Rome has so many great artistic and historic attractions, you’ll really need to narrow down your focus to your specific interest, say centuries old religious sites, to really get an in-depth feel for the culture, history, and atmosphere of Rome.

Hoteles en Milan are also a good staring point for a whirlwind Italian tour. Milan, despite having a number of historical attractions, is the city to go to for Italian fashion. You’ll see supermodels attending at the spring and autumn fairs, women from all over the world who love fashion, and bargain shoppers galore in Milan.

Both Rome and Milan, Italy’s two largest cities, making excellent stops on a whirlwind Italian tour. Both have the truly authentic Italian atmosphere, quaint hotels, and excellent restaurants. Both cities also have enough attractions for weeks of adventure.
