Outdoor Boot camp
One of the outdoor activities getting famous nowadays is outdoor boot camp. If you would go back to the definition of the word in Wikipedia it refers colloquially to military recruit training, the initial indoctrination and instruction given to new military personnel. But now, boot camp is becoming a battle ground for losing calories and gaining strength and cardio benefits. The facilities may appear tough, but for the sake of fitness and health people are starting to buy the idea of doing this hard training as a new form of exercise. This fall season, the weather is nice and suitable going outbound. Boot camps can be found all over America especially in Boston area. But if you think this activity is too tough for women, you might as well try other activities like the traditional jogging, walking in the park or simple stretching exercises at home. What’s important is you do exercise.
Hiking 101
Hobbies are created to kill time but make sure to engage in hobbies that are not expensive, worthwhile and of course your interest. In my case, I really enjoy travelling and nature. It’s one of the reasons I go hiking once in a while. The mountain and trees are so serene that it has a soothing effect on me. Here are some dos and don’ts in hiking. First, always check the weather and weather news if it’s advisable to go hiking. Hike in group, invite your friends. Pack light snacks like chocolate or biscuits, water, map or GPS device and your cell phone in full charged. Don’t mess up with the nature, no picking of flowers even twigs of trees. Stick to the dirt trail as much as possible. Don’t leave any litter and if you can pick up some trash then do so .Lastly, carry some seedlings and plant them on the way for the love of the environment.
